In Verena's first year of running the Redline Time Attack in her Spread Radio Live / Star Girl Racing 350Z, she takes the 2008 Championship in the Drift Class.  Not only did she take podium at every event she competed at, she was also the fastest RWD car at GTLive.

Earlier this year, Verena converted her Time Attack car to run on E85, becoming the first green car in the series.  "It's been an amazing year for me transitioning into Time Attack and Road Racing.  I spent a lot of time working with my coach Billy Johnson, and trying to get as much seat time as possible.  Throughout the season, I've made changes to car to get more traction to attain faster lap times, and it feels great to run on an alternative fuel without having to sacrifice any performance!  I have a lot of people to thank, because I wouldn't have been able to do it without all of your support.  Thanks to my Crew Chief Steve Mitchell, my coach Billy Johnson, BFGoodrich Tires, Jim Wolf Technology, SW Body & Paint, Nissan, KW Suspension, AIT, Motul, Auto Meter, Simply Hawaiian, BMS, Autowave, Impact Racing, Hose Techniques, The Impresario Group, and the Redline Time Attack Series."

With this year being a success, Verena will continue to run the Redline Time Attack Series next season, making more modifications to her car.  She also plans to get more wheel-to-wheel experience and keep moving forward with her plans to go road racing.

Verena says "I always want to keep progressing as a driver while keeping my career dynamic." She's already had an exciting year, starting off with converting her infamous drift car into a road race / Time Attack car, and placing 2nd in the Redline Time Attack season opener at Buttonwillow Raceway.
